Want strong bones and high immunity regardless of age? Make sure you are supplied with adequate amounts of vitamin D3 and K2. These substances will allow you to enjoy not only the good condition of your musculoskeletal system, but also the overall balance of your body. Reach for Vitamin D3 + K2 in the form of a convenient spray and see what benefits it can bring you.

Vitamin D has a number of functions in the body. It is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system, maintains healthy bones and teeth, supports muscle function, helps regulate calcium and phosphate metabolism, and is involved in cell division. Studies have shown that vitamin D, when used together with vitamin K, has the effect of increasing bone mineral density (BMD) [1]. Vitamin K2 (MK-7) has the highest bioavailability – and is credited with improving skeletal quality and strength. It has been shown to play an important role in, among other things, collagen production, which has a positive effect on bone health [2]. It is noteworthy that vitamin K2 has a complementary effect to vitamin D3 and is crucial for maintaining skeletal, cardiac and immune system function both during adolescence and beyond [2,3]. In addition, vitamin D helps to maintain normal blood calcium levels and the optimal utilisation of calcium and phosphorus (an adequate supply of vitamin D increases calcium absorption by about 30-40% and phosphorus absorption by about 80%) [4]. Also, vitamin K2 has properties that regulate calcium metabolism – ensuring that it gets to where it is needed and preventing harmful deposition elsewhere in the body [3]. Given that disorders of calcium-phosphate metabolism have the effect of reducing bone mineralisation, vitamins D3 and K2 may protect against osteoporosis, for example [3,4]. Vitamin K also contributes to normal blood clotting. Xylitol, on the other hand, has modulatory effects on immune function and anti-inflammation, and has a positive effect on bone and intestinal health [5].

Vitamin D can be mainly divided into vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, which is the naturally occurring form of vitamin D3 [4]. The latter form is obtained primarily through the synthesis of UVB light by the skin. This is why vitamin D3 is called the sun vitamin. It is estimated that up to half of the population may be deficient in this compound. This is due, among other things, to limited exposure to natural sunlight. This vitamin can also be provided by including fatty fish in the diet, e.g. salmon, herring or mackerel [4,6].Vitamin K is most commonly found as phylloquinone (K1) and menaquinones (K2) from MK-4 to MK-13 [7] – i.e. the natural forms. Vitamin K2, which is found in animal products and fermented soya (natto), is responsible for maintaining skeletal health [2,7].

Both compounds belong to the group of fat-soluble vitamins. A deficiency of both vitamin D3 and K2 has a negative effect on skeletal health. Insufficient supply of these substances may lead to a decrease in bone mineralisation and, consequently, to skeletal deformities, osteoporosis and other complaints of the musculoskeletal system [4,6,7]. The use of a balanced diet is the basis for maintaining good body condition. Appropriate supplementation can also help to provide adequate amounts of these vitamins.

Our supplement contains menaquinone-7 (MK-7), a highly bioavailable form of vitamin K2, and a naturally occurring form of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). In addition, it has xylitol and natural peppermint flavouring for a positive taste. Vitamin D3 + K2 – 25 ml, is a modern product that allows you to easily implement supplementation. The product is available in the form of a spray, which makes its use extremely convenient and comfortable. Unlike traditional capsules or powders, it does not need to be sipped or diluted, making it even more user-friendly for daily use. In addition, the small package (25 ml) lasts for up to 4 months of supplementation. The recommended daily dose corresponds to 1 pearl (0.2 ml) applied under the tongue. It contains 1000 IU, i.e. 50 ug of vitamin D3 (500% RWS) and 15 ug of vitamin K2 (20% RWS).
